In The Name Of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful. سَبِّحِ اسۡمَ رَبِّكَ الۡاَعۡلَىۙ ﴿۱﴾ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, ﴾1﴿ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰى ۙ ﴿۲﴾ Who createth, then disposeth; ﴾2﴿ وَالَّذِىۡ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰى ۙ ﴿۳﴾ Who measureth, then guideth; ﴾3﴿ وَالَّذِىۡۤ اَخۡرَجَ الۡمَرۡعٰى ۙ ﴿۴﴾ Who bringeth forth the pasturage, ﴾4﴿ فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَآءً اَحۡوٰىؕ ﴿۵﴾ Then turneth it to russet stubble. ﴾5﴿ سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنۡسٰٓىۙ ﴿۶﴾ We shall make thee read O Muhammad so that thou shalt not forget ﴾6﴿ اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُؕ اِنَّهٗ يَعۡلَمُ الۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفٰىؕ ﴿۷﴾ Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; ﴾7﴿ وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرٰى ۖۚ ﴿۸﴾ And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. ﴾8﴿ فَذَكِّرۡ اِنۡ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكۡرٰىؕ ﴿۹﴾ Therefor remind men, for of use is the reminder. ﴾9﴿ سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنۡ يَّخۡشٰىۙ ﴿۱۰﴾ He will heed who feareth, ﴾10﴿ وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الۡاَشۡقَىۙ ﴿۱۱﴾ But the most hapless will flout it, ﴾11﴿ الَّذِىۡ يَصۡلَى النَّارَ الۡكُبۡرٰىۚ ﴿۱۲﴾ He who will be flung to the great Fire ﴾12﴿ ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوۡتُ فِيۡهَا وَلَا يَحۡيٰىؕ ﴿۱۳﴾ Wherein he will neither die nor live. ﴾13﴿ قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ تَزَكّٰىۙ ﴿۱۴﴾ He is successful who groweth, ﴾14﴿ وَذَكَرَ اسۡمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰى ؕ ﴿۱۵﴾ And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, ﴾15﴿ بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَاۖ ﴿۱۶﴾ But ye prefer the life of the world ﴾16﴿ وَالۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ وَّ اَبۡقٰىؕ ﴿۱۷﴾ Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. ﴾17﴿ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِىۡ الصُّحُفِ الۡاُوۡلٰىۙ ﴿۱۸﴾ Lo! بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 870 Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى 871 Sabbihisma Rabbikal A’laa Sahih InternationalExalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ 872 Allazee khalaqa fasawwaa Sahih InternationalWho created and proportioned وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ 873 Wallazee qaddara fahadaa Sahih InternationalAnd who destined and [then] guided وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ 874 Wallazeee akhrajal mar’aa Sahih InternationalAnd who brings out the pasture فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ 875 Faja’alahoo ghusaaa’an ahwaa Sahih InternationalAnd [then] makes it black stubble. سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ 876 Sanuqri’uka falaa tansaaa Sahih InternationalWe will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ 877 Illaa maa shaaa’al laah; innahoo ya’lamul jahra wa maa yakhfaa Sahih InternationalExcept what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ 878 Wa nu-yassiruka lilyusraa Sahih InternationalAnd We will ease you toward ease. فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ 879 Fazakkir in nafa’atizzikraa Sahih InternationalSo remind, if the reminder should benefit; سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ Sa yazzakkaru maiyakhshaa Sahih InternationalHe who fears [Allah] will be reminded. وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى Wa yatajannabuhal ashqaa Sahih InternationalBut the wretched one will avoid it – ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ Allazee yaslan Naaral kubraa Sahih International[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ Summa laa yamootu feehaa wa laa yahyaa Sahih InternationalNeither dying therein nor living. قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ Qad aflaha man tazakkaa Sahih InternationalHe has certainly succeeded who purifies himself وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ Wa zakaras ma Rabbihee fasallaa Sahih InternationalAnd mentions the name of his Lord and prays. بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا Bal tu’siroonal hayaatad dunyaa Sahih InternationalBut you prefer the worldly life, وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ Wal Aakhiratu khairunw wa abqaa Sahih InternationalWhile the Hereafter is better and more enduring. إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ Inna haazaa lafis suhu fil oolaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, this is in the former scriptures, صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ Suhufi Ibraaheema wa Moosaa Sahih InternationalThe scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
